Wharton Lodge is a charming Georgian country house, set in 14 acres of delightful mature parkland on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire borders. It consists of three high quality 5 star cottages and a delightful apartment.

Situated some three miles from the historic town of Ross-on-Wye , adjacent to the Royal Forest of Dean with its renowned scenic walks and close to Symonds Yat , this area contains some of the most picturesque countryside in Great Britain, with the Wye Valley immortalised by the Romantic Poets. Within a short drive there are several castles including Eastnor, Goodrich and Chepstow.

The property is ideally located for visiting many areas designated of outstanding natural beauty, including the Malvern Hills and the Elgar Trail, the Golden Valley , the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains to the West and the Cotswolds to the East.

The Cathederal Cities of Worcester, Hereford (Home of the Mappa Mundi), Gloucester and the Spa town of Cheltenham are a short drive away. The cities of Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Cardiff are easily accessible.
